Jayanta Bhattacharjee: CHAIRMAN (Vidyasagar Foundation)
The Vidyasagar Foundation, Kolkata (a govt. registered trust) was established under the idealism of Iswarchandra Vidyasagar. The foundation was established by some educationists. Keeping the global pattern of educational system in view, we can easily assume that the language English has become essential for all the professions. It is this realization that encouraged us to establish Vidyasagar Vidyamandir, a CBSE co-educational school, where students from all the classes and sections of the society can receive education. From the very first day the pivotal concern of Vidyasagar Foundation has been education. Besides education we also endeavour to provide moral education and spiritualism to our students. Instead of a huge infrastructure, the Trust has focused on education itself. So we have kept the tuition fees as minimal as possible. The members of our School Managing Committee are notably dedicated towards the welfare of the students as well as the school. Our teachers are both efficient and affectionate. We request all the parents to co- operate with the School Managing Committee and the teachers so that we can elevate the school to such a peak that we can all be proud of it.
